Over the past two to three months I've been waiting patiently for the winter weather to come in so I can get some frozen falls. This winter has been unseasonally warm and as a result it's been keeping me in the fall-like season, where waterfalling isn't the prettiest. Not only is the terrain ugly to walk through, but the dead trees, with no summer colour or winter snow makes for some ominous looking waterfall surroundings.
As of right now the water in the Rockies is only slightly frozen where running water is still present, causing waterfalls to still be unfrozen. Once the weather realizes that it is the Winter, I'll head out to the mountains and search for some new waterfalls.
